This article will take you through some of the hottest disruptive looks by the cast from an endless list of inspirational makeup looks by makeup artist Daniella Davy.
The show Euphoria quickly became one of the most buzzworthy series to debut in recent history since it hit our screens in June 2019. The series follows a group of high school students trying to navigate a life of relationships, sex, love, and drugs. With one of the most cult following's on all social media platforms, it was no surprise that Euphoria Makeup Looks became one of the hottest makeup trends from its first season.
Euphoria Makeup Looks to Recreate
We've curated a list of the best makeup looks worn by Maddy, Kat, Cassie, Jules, and other iconic characters.
All that Glitters is Gold
In episode 7 of the first season, Maddy wears a dashing chain eyeliner in her moment of conflict with Kat. She uses real hand cute chains, which are glued using lash glue to the top eyelid. Apply a blue eyeliner to the top lid, use some cosmetic water to activate the liner, and preferably use a holographic cheek shimmer for the eye shadow. Since we don't want our chain abruptly ending, you can taper tiny gold studs at the end, making it an iconic look.
We loved Jules ever since she graced our screens with her detailed neon makeup looks, and we especially loved the hot neon wings the most. You can use neon eyeshadows to recreate the famed neon wings; for accuracy, you can first draw a stencil of the wing with a nude eyeliner pencil, then proceed with the eyeshadows to create fine and definite wings. You can't go wrong with this look, and if you haven't nailed the look, this is the perfect time to get some neon colors and get your hands on them.
Maddy makes her return in season 2 with another hot makeup look for New Year. Apply black eyeliner to make a long and thin wing and use a silver eyeshadow. I recommend topping the eyeshadow with a highlighter to make it sparkly and finish with a generous mascara application on the bottom lash. You can personalize this look with a strip-down lip liner topped with a clear gloss.
While Maddy is babysitting Theo, she wears dashing makeup begging us to recreate it. The Babysitter is out of the scope of Maddy's signature looks as she keeps it simple with matte lips while babysitting Samantha's son. She is rocking beautiful eyelashes with a long and thin black wing. This look is not so hard to recreate, and if you want to de-saturate the lips a little, use a nude lip pencil.
Before the chaos in the hot tub, we see Cassie rocking a hot bay pink look highlighted by pink gems. Her lower lashes are lined with tiny gemstones, and her outer corners have a shimmer shade making the look more complete. You can personalize this look with a bright pink gloss. It would be best to get yourself an assortment of gemstones to add the Euphoria flair to your looks.
The editors cut this jaunty look by Kat from the show, which she was to wear for diner with Ethan and his parents. The negative space hearts can be created using little heart stickers to get the heart shape. Apply a base liquid shadow to help the negative space heart pop best and finish with a beautifully winged pink liner to give it the valentine feeling. This look echoes the negative space hearts in Cassie's episode 4 nails, which you can also use to complete this look.
We loved this look on young and teen Maddy where she rocked a black cat-eye look with a simple cherry stem. The cherry stem consists of multiple layers, with the top layer being a carefully applied green crusher lipstick to make the stem, and for the cherries, you can use red gemstones. You can top this look off with a red glitter lip to complement the cherries.
After multiple efforts by Cassie to try and catch Nate's attention, she lands on Maddy2.0, where she dresses and wears her makeup like Maddy. The makeup artist takes Cassie to a Maddy level of snatched, and we love it. To recreate this look, apply a white liner to make it pop and finish with mascara to the bottom lash, and maybe Nate will also take notice of you. White is a super bold color for your eyeshadow and has classic symbolism of pure and innocent, which is ironic in this scene.
